Claude Platform ships admin APIs and sets Sonnet 4.5 retirement date
Anthropic's 8 October platform release moved Admin API methods out of beta, expanded Compliance API chat coverage for Claude Enterprise, added line information to the Models API and previewed Dreams support for newer models. It also set Claude Sonnet 4.5 retirement for 30 November 2026.
Why it matters: Teams gain more stable administration and audit surfaces while facing a concrete model-migration deadline. Both changes affect compliance evidence, SDK compatibility and production behavior.
