Google's Antigravity CLI 1.5.1 adds Agent Client Protocol model access and changes OAuth sandbox handling so a stand-in token is replaced only in the Authorization header. The release also includes Windows fixes. This CLI surface is tracked separately from the Antigravity app and IDE.
Why it matters: ACP broadens the CLI's model-facing integration surface, while header-only token replacement reduces the chance that a real credential is substituted into unrelated request content. Both changes affect trust boundaries rather than just interface polish.
GitHub Copilot is available in JetBrains Air through the Agent Client Protocol for local IDE work and isolated cloud tasks. Cloud tasks run in a fresh proxied VM, use the connected Copilot subscription and can be disabled by an Air administrator.
Why it matters: ACP makes one coding agent portable into another orchestration surface, but governance splits across JetBrains and GitHub. Air analytics do not include Copilot usage and administrators cannot set Copilot spending limits inside Air.
AWS released Kiro Crew as an Apache-2.0 workspace that runs locally or on user-controlled remote hardware, coordinates parallel Kiro agents, preserves memory across sessions, and runs scheduled or long-lived engineering work.
Why it matters: It moves coding agents from supervised, single-session prompts toward inspectable background work with persistent state, approvals, security policy, and audit trails in one self-hosted control plane.
