ChatGPT replaces note-like memory with background synthesis
OpenAI began rolling out a new Dreaming memory architecture that synthesizes context across conversations, updates time-sensitive facts and exposes a reviewable memory summary. It launched first for US Plus and Pro users, with broader and lower-tier rollout planned.
