Black Forest Labs released FLUX.1 Kontext pro and max through its API and partners, supporting text-plus-image prompts, local edits, style reference, character consistency, and iterative multi-turn changes. A 12B dev variant entered private beta.
Why it matters: Image workflows could preserve a character or product across edits without training a new adapter for every change, making the model useful for design iteration and asset systems.
