Amazon Bedrock adds managed GLM-5.3 access

AWS made Z.ai's GLM-5.3 available to eligible enterprise customers through Amazon Bedrock. The managed service exposes OpenAI-compatible Responses and Chat Completions APIs plus Bedrock Invoke and Converse, with US and global cross-Region profiles, prompt caching and service tiers.

Amazon Bedrock adds cross-Region inference for GPT-5.6

Amazon Bedrock made GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra, and Luna available through inference profiles across more than twenty-five AWS Regions, then added India-only profiles for Terra and Luna across Mumbai and Hyderabad. Why it matters: The launch turns model routing, capacity, data location, IAM permissions, logging, caching, retention, and failover into one deployment decision. India-regulated workloads gain a bounded two-Region capacity pool without accepting worldwide inference routing.
