Peer-reviewed framework trains microrobot navigation policies in minutes
Nature Machine Intelligence published a reinforcement-learning framework that vectorizes more than 10,000 artificial vascular environments and uses task-shaping-regularization to train microrobot navigation policies in minutes. The authors report zero-shot transfer across distinct magnetic microrobots and vascular phantoms and provide public code.
Why it matters: Faster training and morphology transfer could make physical microrobot control experiments easier to reproduce and adapt without collecting large real-world training sets.
