Weaviate starts the GraphQL API retirement clock
Weaviate deprecated its GraphQL query API. New Cloud clusters already omit it; inactive Cloud clusters lose it on 1 December 2026, all remaining Cloud clusters on 1 May 2027, and a later self-hosted minor release will disable it by default before eventual removal.
Why it matters: Raw GraphQL calls, older clients and community integrations now carry a dated outage risk, while the REST replacement remains a preview with feature gaps.
