Windsurf 2.0 adds one-click handoff from Cascade to a Devin cloud VM
Windsurf 2.0 embedded the Devin cloud agent directly in the editor, allowing a developer to delegate a local task to an isolated cloud VM and review its changes and test results without leaving Windsurf. The release also refined browser tooling and improved remote-development behavior.
Why it matters: Local interactive coding and long-running cloud execution are becoming two stages of one workflow. A clean handoff can let a developer explore locally, then delegate bounded implementation or testing without rebuilding context.
