Cohere North 2 makes agent governance and private deployment first-class

Cohere released North 2, an enterprise agent platform with reusable skills, libraries, memory, apps and automations, plus connectors and administrative controls for quotas, access, observability and autonomy. Cohere says it can run in its cloud, a customer VPC, on premises, in a hybrid environment or air-gapped.

Why it matters: North 2 packages agent orchestration and governance into one deployable surface. The useful change is not a new benchmark score but the ability to bind persistent agent behavior to organization-level cost, access, observability and deployment controls.
