GitHub renamed and promoted HydraFusion to Copilot Fusion GA across major clients, with Standard, High and Max effort levels that use single, cascade or critique orchestration. An experimental preview can route between supported local and cloud models.
Why it matters: Developers can delegate model selection and multi-model orchestration while administrators govern the eligible pool, but every selected model is billed and local routing does not make the session fully offline.
