Project ProtoStar launches an open-science pipeline for AI-ready public research
Hugging Face, university partners, Astera Institute, the Open Forum for AI and ORCA announced Project ProtoStar to publish publicly funded datasets, models and code in reusable, machine-actionable formats. Its first open challenge, on climate-risk intelligence at Carnegie Mellon, opens 2 November and runs through 13 November.
