OCC gives bank examiners a materiality-based framework for super-intelligence use
The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency published a supervisory resource for examining banks' use of systems it calls super intelligence. It tells examiners to focus on the materiality and risk of the use case rather than model sophistication or marketing labels.
Why it matters: For regulated banks, autonomy, transaction authority, customer impact and control evidence now matter more than whether a vendor calls a model frontier or super-intelligent.
