ChatGPT retires automatic Thinking switches for Plus and Pro
ChatGPT Plus and Pro no longer switch ordinary Instant requests automatically into a higher Thinking level, except for safety. OpenAI also removed the Higher intelligence web setting for those plans; users must select an available Thinking level or Pro model when they want more deliberate reasoning.
