GitHub enterprise AI controls and agent control plane reach general availability
GitHub made its enterprise AI controls and agent control plane generally available, adding delegated AI-admin roles, agent-session discovery, audit events, custom-agent policies, and APIs for enterprise-wide agent definitions. Administrators could trace who an agent acted for, review the last 24 hours of cloud sessions, and manage AI settings from a consolidated control surface.
Why it matters: Agent adoption gained a real administrative layer for inventory, policy, delegation, and audit rather than relying on scattered repository settings.
