GitHub Copilot for JetBrains previews assisted tool approvals
GitHub Copilot for JetBrains 1.18.0 added public-preview assisted approvals that automatically approve tool calls its classifier deems low risk while still prompting for higher-risk actions. The release also rewinds conversation and file changes when an earlier message is edited, supports organization-managed skills and instructions, adds Codex plan mode, and persists per-tool MCP controls.
