AWS Neuron 2.33 adds native PyTorch and an observability beta
AWS Neuron 2.33 introduces a TorchNeuron native PyTorch backend beta for Trn2 and Trn3, usable in eager mode or with torch.compile, plus Neuron Observer beta for profiling and memory attribution. The release also updates vLLM integration and adds media-model support and experimental NKI kernels.
Why it matters: A more native PyTorch path can reduce framework adaptation for Trainium workloads, while memory attribution can make accelerator bottlenecks diagnosable. Both headline capabilities remain beta and need hardware-specific validation.
