Gemini Live ships Guided Vision across supported Android devices
Google moved Guided Vision from announcement to availability in Gemini Live on Android 9 and later where Gemini Live is supported. The camera experience provides spoken descriptions, follow-up answers and reframing cues, with shortcuts through Android Accessibility settings and TalkBack.
Why it matters: The feature is now usable as a conversational visual aid rather than only promised. Its wider access can help with labels, objects and room context, but Google explicitly says it is not a navigation, obstacle-detection or mobility replacement.
