Google proposes A2A for cross-vendor agent collaboration
Google announced the Agent2Agent protocol with more than 50 launch partners, defining agent cards, task lifecycles, messages, artifacts, streaming, and notifications for agents to discover and collaborate with one another.
Why it matters: MCP-style tool access does not solve agent delegation. A2A addressed how independent agents advertise capability, exchange work, and report progress.
